Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary is an amazing combination of snow-capped mountain ranges, rich wildlife, verdant grasslands, white water streams, thick deodar vegetation, etc. The term Kalatop means ‘black cap’, which in turn refers to the lush black cover of forest on the sanctuary’s highest hilltop.
